The main benfits to fast drying screeds is the timing between installing the screed and the floor finishings this can be as little as 24 hours from installation. Some of the screeds we use can recieve light foot traffic in three hours which significantly
reduces program times.
Most fast drying screeds will not require re-enforcement or curing and can also be layed at a reduced thickness which can be a benifit to underfloor heating screeds allowing floors to heat up and cool down much more efficiently. A standard screed layed at 75mm will take 110 days to dry before in can recieve its final floor covering.
